On October 28, 2011, ten Team Type 1 Runners will began a 3,000 mile, non-stop, relay-style run across America.
Through varying weather and terrain, these athletes with Type 1 diabetes each ran an average of 22 miles per day to finish in just 15 days. The team completed the journey in New York City on World Diabetes Day, November 14, 2011, and once again demonstrated that all things are possible, despite living everyday with an incurable disease.
