Javier Megias Leal, 27, Spain. Leal returns to Team Type 1 for his second year, and has six years of ProTour racing experience in his native Spain. A type 1 diabetic, Leal is best known as a sprinter and accomplished stage racer, who scored victories at the Vuelta a Chihuahua (2007), Vuelta a Goierri (2005) and second overall at the Vuelta Ciclista a Valladolid in 2005. During the 2010 season, Leal reached the podium at the Tour de Beauce in Quebec and finished in the top-10 at the Philadelphia International Championship.
